I'm Shulan Kuang, a Product Designer with experience designing products across AI, smart home, and enterprise software. Over the past three years, I've worked on a range of digital experiences, including a conversational AI platform that enables users to generate images, videos, and 3D models through natural language, as well as smart device experiences, appliance HMIs, mobile applications, and scalable design systems for SaaS products.

I'm currently completing my Master of Integrated Innovation for Products & Services at Carnegie Mellon University while working as an Interaction Designer at GE Appliances, designing end-to-end experiences for appliance interfaces and the Smart Home ecosystem.

I'm passionate about experimenting with new technology and turning ideas into real things. I've been actively exploring and building AI agents and vibe coding, using AI tools to build software, interactive experiences, and physical prototypes. I love connecting digital design with tangible, everyday needs, and this portfolio itself was built with Figma, VS Code, and Claude Code.

My design approach is rooted in understanding users, identifying their needs and behaviors, and creating solutions that balance user goals, technical feasibility, and business objectives. I'm actively seeking full-time Product Designer opportunities beginning Summer 2027.
